INDIAN CADETS

Any eligible Indian candidate wishing to join Anglo-Eastern’s Cadet Training Programme can apply online throughout the year under the Apply for Online Test section.

Anglo-Eastern’s admission cell for trainees recruits 440 cadets in each calendar year:

  • 240 Deck Cadets (DNS – Diploma in Nautical Science)
  • 160 Engine Cadets (GME - Graduate Mechanical Engineers)
  • 40 Electro Technical Officers (ETO)

Once an application is approved, candidates are asked to appear for the online test (Academics, Aptitude and Psychometric evaluation). The online test is conducted seamlessly on a daily basis at 50 centers across India – giving candidates the option to choose the most suitable date and place for their test. Successful candidates are then invited to appear for panel interviews at either Mumbai or Delhi. Candidates who clear the interviews then proceed for a comprehensive medical examination.

After the above stage, a prospective cadet’s journey begins, and are on their way to Anglo Eastern Maritime Academy (AEMA) located in Karjat.
