As Anglo-Eastern’s managed fleet plies the world’s oceans, safety stands as the unwavering lodestar guiding our every voyage. This remains as true today as it did upon our inception 50 years ago.
This issue sees a commencement of celebrations in honour of our golden anniversary, in which we reflect on one of many long-term partnerships, as well as our annual dinner held at the end of 2023.
We do so while fully acknowledging the current happenings in the Red Sea and the need to tackle the use of crews as pawns in the chessboard of geopolitical interests. The call is clear, and the responsibility shared for both the safe operations of our ships and the safety of our seafarers.
