During a voyage to Nome, Alaska, the crew of MT Ebisu experienced polar navigation under the Arctic summer’s midnight sun, combining safe operations with memorable encounters across one of the world’s most distinctive maritime environments.
On 5 June, MV Graceous, a capesize bulk carrier managed by Anglo Eastern for Teh Hu Cargocean, achieved a significant milestone at Visakhapatnam Port, one of the major ports in India. Measuring 292 metres in length with a beam of 45 metres and a draft of 12.2 metres, the vessel became the largest to enter the port’s inner harbour to date.
The naming of YM Centennial took place at a meaningful moment in Yamamaru Kisen’s history. Delivered on 16 March 2026 from Tsuneishi Heavy Industries (Cebu) Inc., the vessel entered service during the company’s centenary year, making its arrival both timely and symbolic within Yamamaru Kisen’s long‑term fleet development.

For over one year, Anglo-Eastern has been the proud ship manager of Fortescue’s Green Pioneer – the world’s first operational ammonia-fuelled demonstration vessel.
