He began his career as a deck officer with A.P. Moller-Maersk, served as CEO of Univan Ship Management, and later led the merger that formed Anglo-Eastern Univan Group. Known for his principled yet pragmatic leadership style, Bjorn has championed innovation, crew welfare, and sustainability across a fleet of approximately 750 ships and 39,000+ seafarers worldwide.
