
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting directly to the HOD - Nautical, your core responsibilities will include:
- To provide training and implementation of quality standards in assigned training courses.
- To identify and record all deficiencies related to training activities and inform Head of Department. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities related to training activities.
- Take the participants feedback prior
- to completion of the course/ semester and accept the criticism positively to improve upon the contents and delivery of the courses.Reporting and reviewing of training resources and continuous upgradation of teaching aids.
- Suggest and report methods for further improvement of the courses.
Required Qualifications
- Master Mariner Class 1 – COC from India / UK (Preference for experience on Oil/ Chemical tanker, level - 2 Endorsement).
- With min. 1 year command experience.
- Experience in Ship operation, teaching / auditing experience preferred.
- Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA) or Vertical Integration Course for Trainers (VICT).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be interested in modern teaching methodologies.
- Candidate must have a passion for learning continuously and a desire to be in the teaching profession.
- Proficient in use of computers and skilled in operation of educational software programmes
