WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a Communications Specialist who will play a crucial role in the evolution of our company culture and interactions across stakeholder groups. This person should be highly motivated and relish the prospect of influencing the internal and external communications strategy of our organisation while fostering a positive and engaging workplace for both shore and sea staff. The individual will also play a part in wider content enablement, events and training.
Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing an internal communications strategy that enhances collaboration and transparent information flows across mapped stakeholder groups.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to craft impactful content including bios, articles, announcements, videos, presentations, and scripts.
- Driving the uptake and enablement of communication tools and platforms.
- Providing assistance and support for townhall meetings and events, including design, coordination, content development, and support to senior leaders.
- Working with internal stakeholders to review and enhance communication materials (e.g. onboarding, training, employee value proposition, etc.) ensuring consistency and effectiveness, and brand alignment across the full organisation.
- Creating timely and engaging content for populating of associated newsletters and company publications.
- Contributing to and reinforcing CSR and ESG programmes.
- Assisting with overall content development across key publications (both internal and external)
- Staying up to date with communications best practices and industry trends to facilitate a cycle of continuous innovation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6+ years of proven experience in communications or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to confidently express oneself.
- Strong project management, copywriting and editing skills with a creative mindset and ability to think strategically.
- Team player that can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across a large and global organisation.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of communications best practices and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Native English proficiency.
