WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of employee handbook and personnel policies and procedures, in conjunction with senior management.
- Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Conduct recruitment efforts; conduct new-employee orientations; monitor career-pathing program.
- Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
- Administer the payroll for branch-office staff.
- Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the branch-office.
- Maintain compliance with federal and provincial regulations concerning employment.
- Supervise the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
- Responsible for the branch-office day-to-day operations.
- Negotiate the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., in accordance with Anglo-Eastern purchasing policies.
- Participate as needed in special department projects and in support of the General Manager.

Required Qualifications
Education
- College/University graduate
- Canadian Payroll Association designation an asset
Experience
- Five to seven years combined human resource and office management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of office processes
Abilities
- Computer literacy, intermediate level with Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of SAP Success Factors a strong asset.
- Verbal and written articulacy in both English & French.
- Professional discretion, sense of urgency, accuracy.
- Well-developed time management skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Specific Business Knowledge.
- Knowledge of Anglo-Eastern procedures and business processes an asset.
