At 402,348 dwt, MV Ore Brasil is amongst the largest ships ever managed by Anglo-Eastern. This December, the VLOC earned the extra distinction of being the largest vessel to ever call on the northern Chinese port of Lianyungang, which involved unprecedented collaboration with multiple parties to accommodate the ship’s immense draft and ensure a smooth port entry and berthing.
MV Forte and MV Transshelf are two Boskalis-owned semi-submersible heavy transport vessels under our management that have been contracted to transport several modules for LNG Canada since October 2021. While Transshelf completed its last delivery in October 2022, Forte will continue shipping modules for the project until Q3 2023.
Under Anglo-Eastern supervision, divers thoroughly cleaned the hull of the Boskalis-owned MV Blue Marlin over a two-week period earlier this year to prepare the heavy transport vessel for its next cargo operation in New Zealand waters.
The Boskalis heavy transport fleet is known for its many special projects, from novel float-over installations to serving as floating dry-docks for supersized vessels. Now, increasingly, wind farm deliveries can be added to the fleet’s project portfolio, and once again we are proud to be a part of it – as ship managers helping to shape a better maritime future.
After a four-year lay-up, BOKA Atlantic – the only multipurpose offshore vessel (MOV) under Anglo-Eastern management – is finally back in action, with one project already under its belt this November and another one lined up in December.
On 10 August 2022, Anglo-Eastern Tanker Management (AETM) Hong Kong took delivery of the 109,999-dwt MT Proteus Jessica, the first LNG dual-fuel oil product tanker under our full technical management.
